  • Chronic disease follow-up

What is the difference between a house call and home care?

A house call is a medical appointment where a healthcare provider comes to your home to provide primary care services, similar to what you would receive during an office visit.

Home care is a separate service that provides ongoing assistance or skilled care in the home, often through home health agencies, caregivers, or other healthcare professionals.

Versatile Direct Primary Care provides scheduled primary care house calls for active members. We do not replace home health agencies, personal caregivers, or skilled nursing services.

Versatile Direct Primary Care does not provide:

  • Daily caregiving services
  • Bathing, dressing, or personal care assistance

  • Housekeeping services
  • 24-hour supervision
  • Routine home health aide services

Patients who need these services may benefit from contacting a home care agency or community support organization.
